The Shopping Day
We were given RM500 to cover all the cost of making this robot.
And so, we shopped. Of course being girls, this is by far, the most enjoyable step of the journey to emerge as champion.
It was hectic but fun nonetheless. We started our journey at 11 a.m in the morning. We went to a plastic shop in Kelana Jaya first. Things are extremely cheap there. We thought we hit the jackpot. But, we couldn't find anything there so we make our move to IKEA.
But always remember that food is first. HAHA. So we went to eat. And needless to say, IKEA's food is gooooooddd. And then, we made our move to a hardware store in which we surveyed the price for the spray paint. Of course it was expensive. So we decided to shop spray paints at another less popular shop in SS2, PJ.
But our trip to IKEA wasn't in vain. We managed to get all the pipes for the robots. They cost us less than RM50 and we were truly satisfied with our purchase. :D
And then, we bought 5 spray paints for our robot. The colour shall remain a secret but we managed to bargain with the shopkeeper and they gave us 30 % discount on the spray paints. :D
Our day ended at 3 pm. We managed to get all the things we needed.
And it won't be long before our water transformer is ready to be shown to the world. :)
